The Analytical Forensic Testing Laboratory was created over 25 years ago specializing in forensic toxicology testing for horse racing. In 2004 the laboratory became affiliated with the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) and we are continually striving to better our scientific practices as well as educate the public regarding forensic testing. In the next several years we intend to grow and expand as a highly respected forensic laboratory that is also supporting a widely recognized forensic educational program at UIC. Our laboratory has a passion for supporting the community and contributing to the growth and improvement of forensic testing both from within the laboratory with reliable validated protocols and from the classroom in teaching the next generation of forensic scientists.
